OUR MUSIC

Our original music reflects our thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

With over 10,000 plays in less than one year since our debut release, we will be publishing more music in the near future.

Escape

"The basement's dark enough to hide

Take some time to have a little look inside

The stairway breeze might feel cold

Walk down the steps, it's just as warm as home"

Escape follows the story of a young man, tempted to explore a comfortingly familiar basement. As the song progresses, the protagonist chooses to not submit to the basement; he recognizes that even though it’s a part of his own mind, the basement will swallow him into its depths.

Escape includes an upbeat guitar riff, lush vocal harmonies, and an unforgettable chorus melody fitting for our signature alt-rock anthem.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind

"Stumbled in my room unaware

But I notice every move

I try to shake it off but the stain won't fade, the smell won't go,

And the scars won't heal anytime soon"

Out of Sight, Out of Mind depicts a toxic relationship between two main characters: a man who fell too hard, too fast, and a woman who has developed substance dependencies. In fact, the man recognizes the only times he's felt reciprocated affection is when his lover is inebriated. The song's introspective themes touch on self-doubt, self-worth, loneliness, and acceptance.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind's unique laid-back feel combined with its rich guitar chords, grooving bassline, and eccentric saxophone riffing sets it apart from all of our other work.

pretending to be in love

"The dreams all fade away

As I look at her, she's happier this way

My hands pressed on the glass

I stare at them knowing it's all in the past"

Our newest release, pretending to be in love, sparked a frenzy on social media, gaining tens of thousands of views in a single day. As the song begins, the protagonist's friend calls to check up on him after a clearly unfortunate incident; the response to said checkup is the song itself. The song's theme follows the struggles of unrequited love; as the song continues, he internalizes that a small flame of shared romance had now been completely extinguished.

pretending to be in love uses a vintage telephone-style audio processing to show that the song is being heard through a telephone. With a fully recorded string section, pretending to be in love demonstrates our abilities to produce music in a bedroom pop/indie pop aesthetic while still incorporating harmonic complexity.
